The Staff and Board of Management would like to sincerely thank you and all our pupils for your continued co-operation and support in preventing the spread of Covid – 19 in our school community.
In line with the latest Covid measures children from 3rd to 6th class are now required to wear face masks. Please be advised that children will require a medical certificate for mask exemptions.

Dear Parents,
We wish to thank Ms Clarke & all the staff of Martinstown NS for all their work & efforts keeping all our children safe in school during these times.
Thanks to all Parents that attended the National Parents Council training zoom, it was a very informative session.
The National Parents Council do weekly online training events. On November 29th, December 1st & 2nd they are running sessions at 10am for Parents who are looking for guidance on how to support their children’s mental health & wellbeing. Please see link sent out earlier in the week or for further details see their website www.NPC.ie.

Communion:
First Holy Communion will take place on Saturday 7th May 2022.
Secretary:
We would like to welcome Síobhradh as secretary to our school. Siobhradh will be with us on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Split the Pot:
Congratulations to all our Split the Pot winners to date. Thank you for your continued support. Total raised so far: €3,026.
We will be having a Special Christmas Draw on Friday December 17th with an additional prize of a Luxury Christmas hamper. There will be a cost of €10 per entry for this draw.
Footpath:
Works have commenced on the footpath at the end of the carpark as part of the Safe Travel to School Initiative. These improvements will enable cyclists and walkers to access the school safely.
Team Hope Shoebox Appeal:
A big thank you to those of you who donated shoeboxes to the annual Shoebox Appeal.
