Dear Parents and Pupils,
We would like to welcome you all back after the Easter break. We hope that you are all keeping safe and well. Hopefully we will be able to get back to school again soon in the meantime we look forward to reconnecting with you all again albeit through an online platform.
We are delighted to be able to engage with pupils through the platform Seesaw. Seesaw is new to both teachers and pupils so do bear with us while we get familiar with it. We would ask that Seesaw be only used for the uploading of assigned work from your teacher and that pupils do not use it for uploading personal content i.e. personal photos/videos that are unrelated to assigned work. This is to ensure the online safety of all pupils.
Here’s how it works – Your class teacher will email you to invite you to join their class. Teachers will upload activities for their class on a weekly basis. These activities will have instructions for pupils. Once pupils have completed work, they can save it to their journal where teachers will be able to view and give feedback. Should pupils have difficulty with any assignment they can ask their teacher for help. Teachers will give feedback and respond to queries on a daily basis between 11am and 1pm, Monday to Friday.
Please email your class teacher if you are experiencing any difficulties with logging in or engagement with Seesaw.
For those who don’t have access to Seesaw, please click on the class teachers links below for week 4 Home Learning plan of work for each class.
Looking forward to getting started with Seesaw.
Ms Clarke, Mr Gilbourne, Ms Anglim, Ms Butler and Ms Crowe.
