Amber Flag: Following a very successful cake sale organised by 5th and 6th class, and our Amber Day earlier in the year, we will be donating an impressive €1166 to Pieta House. A huge thank you to all who baked cakes and supported these fundraisers. The Amber Flag programme supports and promotes wellbeing in schools. Thank you to Ms. Butler and 5th and 6th class for organising fun activities to promote this initiative.

Hurling Training: Hurling training with Paddy Mooney will commence in school on Thursday 27th February for 3rd-6th class. Pupils can bring their hurley and helmet to school for training.

World Book Day: World Book Day takes place on Thursday 5th March. Pupils can dress up as a character from their favourite book on this day.

FAI: 4th-6th class will take part in the FAI 5-a-side soccer tournament in Corbally in March. Date to follow.

School Tours: Details for school tours are as follows:

  • Junior & Senior Infants are going to Dreamland in Limerick on Wednesday 17th June. Cost is €35 (lunch included).
  • 1st & 2nd class are going to Lets Go camp in Limerick on Wednesday 17th June. Cost is €40.
  • 3rd-6th class are going to Trabolgan on Thursday 18th June. Cost is €45 (lunch included)

Payment for school tours can be paid off at reception over the coming weeks if parents wish.

Appointments with teachers: As the school is a busy place in the morning and evening we remind parents that should you wish to meet with class teachers/principal please contact reception to arrange an appointment. We appreciate your understanding with this as teachers are in before and after school for supervision and class preparation.

Mid Term: School will be closed Thursday 20th and Friday 21st reopening Monday 24th February. Enjoy the break!
