JEP: 5th and 6th class pupils completed their 2019 JEP project “Limerick Beanies and Keyrings”. A total of €1277 profit was raised, well done to all involved.

First Aid Training: The Community Defibrillator Group has organised first aid training for all pupils in the school on Friday 1st March and Monday 4th March.

FAI: Pupils from 4th-6th class will take part in the FAI soccer tournament in Corbally on Monday 4th March.

World Book Day: World Book Day takes place on Thursday 7th March. To celebrate this day pupils can dress up as a character from their favourite book. Be as creative as you like!

Language Day: The school will close be closed on Friday 8th March to facilitate a Language Curriculum Day for the staff.

Student Council: Congratulations to the elected Student Council representatives:

1st class: Sarah O Riordan and Jack Ryan. 2nd class: Conor O Riordan and Daithí Lawless. 3rd class: Laoise Keogh and Darragh O Leary. 4th class: Caoimhe O Farrell and Anthony Lawless. 5th class: Oran Crowley and Meábh Leahy. 6th class: Seán Leahy and Michael Barrett.

School Tours : -3rd to 6th classes will be going to Ballyhass Lakes on the 12th of June. This year’s tour is working out more expensive than previous trips. The cost per pupil will be €45. Parents have the option of paying for this in stages over the coming months if they wish.

-Junior and Senior Infants will be going to Woody’s Fun Club at the Woodland Hotel on the 13th June. The cost per pupil will be €24.

-1st and 2nd class will be going to UL Adventure World on the 13th June. The cost per pupil will be €28.

Aldi Stickers: The school is collecting stickers to enter the Aldi Play Rugby competition. Any stickers collected while shopping in Aldi can be added to our poster in school. Full posters will be entered into a draw for €50,000 toward school’s playing facilities.

Garden Clean Up & Team Limerick Cleanup: Thank you to the volunteers who came to help for the Spring Clean of our school garden. Team Limerick Clean-up will take place on Friday 19th April. More detail closer to the time

School Musical: Save the Date: The School Musical “Hoodwinked” will take place on Wednesday 19th June.
